Reno Omokri has dropped a bombshell on why he is on a mission to destroy supporters of Peter Obi, the Obidient Movement. Speaking in an interview with News Central on Thursday, March 27, Omokri, declared Obi his “project” and he was the one who suggested Obi’s name as running mate to PDP’s Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 election.
According to lindaikejisblog, Omokri clarified “I made a vow to deconstruct that movement because Peter Obi was my project. I was the one who made sure Peter Obi was the vice presidential candidate of Waziri Atiku Abubakar in 2019. I said it on the record. I have the papers. I’m a meticulous record keeper.”.
“Obidients, the movement of Peter Obi, started attacking me, threatening me, insulting me. That was okay. They then went to my family. I had just given birth to a daughter then. There were a number of death threats.
“They came to my house in the United Kingdom. They followed my wife and me when we used to run. They found my running route and drove me out, threatening me.” Omokri uncovered that members of the Obidient Movement attacked him, his daughter and his wife. He added that Obi failed to respond when he filed a complaint, and thus he decided to use “whatever political machinery I have to bring down that movement.”.
