House of Reps Considers Bill to Prevent Over-60s from Presidential and Gubernatorial Elections

The Nigerian House of Representatives has passed a bill that will prevent individuals over 60 years old from contesting the President and Governor seats.

The bill, sponsored by Rep. Ike Ugochinyere, passed its second reading on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
