A Nigerian lady who lives abroad went viral after she opened up about the painful truth behind a heartrending betrayal in her marriage.
What she believed to be a stepfamily was a deceitful scheme of secrets — and the mental toll has got everyone on social media shocked and sympathetic.
In a devastating video that later went viral, the woman revealed that the teenage girl her husband had introduced to her as his “niece” was, in fact, his biological child from a previous relationship.
She had been living with them on false pretenses, and only much later was the truth finally revealed — devastating the wife.
“I did not even know he has a child. He never informed me of this before we wedded,” she went on crying in the now-viral video. “I thought she was his niece… but she’s his daughter.”
Following the backlash online, she made a revised statement in which the police intervened to calm the situation at home.
Authorities allegedly instructed her husband to step outside the house for a while to give space for everyone to breathe.
“The police came and we talked it out,” she said. “They only asked that he leave the house for the time being. You people don’t have any idea.
