“He Left Me After Zazu” – Portable Calls Out Olamide for Not Being Able to Maintain Support

Olamide

Street-hop artiste Portable is making headlines once more—this time for expressing his discontent at veteran rapper Olamide, whom he accused of offering temporary support when he was coming up.

Speaking during a candid interview on EchoRoom, the ‘Zazu Zeh’ crooner acknowledged that while he appreciates Olamide’s feature on the 2021 breakout hit, he felt deserted shortly afterward.

“I can’t drag Skepta because he held my hand—Olamide didn’t,” Portable said. “He gave me a verse on ‘Zazu’ and left me without management.

He can’t sign me now because I’m a global superstar.”

Portable also went ahead to praise British-Nigerian rapper Skepta for playing a bigger role in his career and encouraging him to enter the international space.

This is not the first occasion that the self-styled “Wahala Musician” has shaded the YBNL boss.

Portable had previously accused Olamide of “stealing” his producer, dancer, and promoter following the colossal success of Zazu Zeh.

Olamide, renowned for keeping a low profile whenever controversy is around, has never publicly responded to Portable’s relentless accusations.

Despite his criticism, Portable explained he’s still appreciative of Olamide’s contribution to his early fame—but he insists he expected more practical help and mentorship from the rap legend.
