Governor Uba Sani Reinstates Revoked Land Titles to Boost Investment in Kaduna

Uba Sani

The Director General of Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS), Dr. Bashir Ibrahim Garba, has revealed that Governor Uba Sani is reinstating land titles revoked by the previous administration of former Governor Nasir El-Rufai to foster a more business-friendly environment in Kaduna State.

Garba emphasized the governor’s commitment to attracting investment, creating jobs, and boosting Internally Generated Revenue (IGR). As part of this effort, Governor Sani has reinstated the four land titles belonging to Fifth Chukker Resort Limited, a renowned polo and country club along Jos Road, which hosts international polo tournaments and events.

Addressing Land Disputes and Enhancing Land Administration

The KADGIS boss reaffirmed the government’s determination to resolve land and property disputes, ensuring that an efficient land administration system is in place to serve the people. He noted that the ongoing reinstatements aim to correct past revocations that lacked due process, paving the way for a more transparent and investor-friendly approach to land management.

Garba urged Kaduna residents to remain law-abiding and patient as the administration continues implementing people-centered land reforms aimed at promoting sustainable economic growth and development in the state.
