Gombe State Launches 17th Phase of Food Palliative Distribution Amidst Economic Challenges

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has initiated the 17th phase of food palliative distribution, targeting 214,500 beneficiaries across the state. The program, which coincides with the observance of Ramadan and Lent, aims to provide sustenance to the less privileged and vulnerable populations.

This initiative reflects the governor’s commitment to supporting residents during economic hardships, including the aftermath of fuel subsidy removal. The distribution, ensuring equitable reach to all polling units, includes essential food items to aid citizens in observing their religious fasts with dignity.
