Late Tuesday night, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier arrived in Nigeria via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, for a three-day official visit.
The President was warmly received by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, along with officials from the FCT Administration.
Expressing his excitement on Facebook, Minister Wike wrote, “It was a great honour for me to, on behalf of our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, welcome the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, to Nigeria.”
President Steinmeier’s visit underscores the strengthening bilateral relations between Germany and Nigeria.
