Nigerian actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele is showing her support for fellow actor Femi Adebayo as he prepares to release his highly anticipated series, “Seven Doors”. Akindele took to Instagram on Monday, sharing the show’s trailer and encouraging her fans to look forward to its premiere.

In an August interview with “Independence”, Adebayo hinted that Seven Doors would surpass his previous hit, “Jagun Jagun”, describing it as a mix of history and culture. The series spans the 18th and 19th centuries, blending elements of traditional Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa cultures in a storyline featuring a Yoruba king, his Igbo queen, and a Hausa businessman.
The star-studded cast includes Femi Adebayo, Chioma Akpotha, Wumi Toriola, Yinka Quadri, Oshodi Oke, Dayo Amusa, Adebayo Salami, and Gabriel Afolayan, making “Seven Doors” a true showcase of Nigerian talent and culture. Fans can catch the series on Netflix starting December 13.
