Nigerian actress, director, and producer Funke Akindele recently took to social media to celebrate the success of rising star Layi Wasabi, whose real name is Isaac Olayiwola. Layi, though young, has already made a significant impact in Nigeria’s digital content creation world, earning multiple awards. He has also begun carving out a name for himself in Nollywood.
Layi’s breakout role as a main cast member in Funke Akindele’s popular show Everybody Loves Jenifa helped him gain recognition within the industry. In her Instagram post, Funke Akindele praised the young actor’s talent and potential.
