The Edo State House of Assembly, on Tuesday, suspended all elected chairmen and vice chairmen of the 18 local government area councils over allegations of misappropriation of funds.
The decision was reached during plenary following a heated debate.
In the interim, the legislative heads of the various local government councils have been directed to oversee operations for the next two months.
