Driver and 3 others Transporting News Papers to Kaduna Died in Auto Crash.

In the early hours of Thursday, a commercial driver transporting national newspapers from Abuja to Kaduna along with four other occupants were killed in a car accident.

According to an eyewitness, the incident occurred along the Abuja-Kaduna highway, in the Kakau region, a few kilometers from Kaduna city.

It was determined that their remains were deposited at Saint Gerard Catholic Hospital in Kakuri, Kaduna.

Mr. Charles, the circulation officer for The Sun in Kaduna, stated that several copies of newspapers from various organizations were severely stained with blood when they were delivered to the distribution center in the heart of Kaduna.

He stated that Daily Sun copies were also affected. Other affected publications include Leadership, Blue print, and New Telegraph.

The driver known as Chaji was scheduled to hand off the newspapers in Kaduna before continuing to Kano with the passengers.

At the time this report was filed, the cause of the dreadful accident had yet to be determined.
