Drake’s “One Dance” Becomes First Song to Hit One Billion Streams on Spotify

Guinness World Records has officially recognized “One Dance” by Drake, featuring WizKid and Kyla, as the first song to surpass one billion streams on Spotify.

The announcement, which sparked widespread excitement, was made in a tweet by GWR on X (formerly Twitter).

The record-breaking hit was released in 2016 as part of Drake’s critically acclaimed album Views.

The tweet read: “The first song to reach one billion streams on Spotify was One Dance by Drake, WizKid, and Kyla.”
