Struggling hip-hop tycoon, Sean âDiddyâ Combs has been accused of sexual assault in a fresh lawsuit. One Southern California man âJohn Doe,â anonymously accused Combs sexually assaulted him when they produced an unnamed commercial for either 2022 or 2023 in a New York County Supreme Court suit reported by USA TODAY.
Doe, who describes himself as a âphotographer/production assistant,â claims he and Combs had discussion after they produced what Doe describes as âa high-profile commercial.â After Combsâ alleged invitation of Doe into his trailer, he demanded that Doe perform oral sex on him and promised to âmake your career take off.â Doe characterized the alleged incident as âblatant sexual quid-pro-quo.â
âCombs billed this meeting as an opportunity for (Doe) to advance his career. (Doe), though hesitant, could not deny what appeared to be a career-defining experience few are ever offered,â the lawsuit says. âThe implication was clear, too, that if (Doe) failed to provide oral sex to Combsâ satisfaction, his career would be finished.â
Doe, who âcanât recallâ why Combs was on set but stated name-high profile types arenât necessarily listed on call sheets, accuses Combs of sexual battery and requests a trial by jury in the case.
Combsâ attorneys, in a letter to USA TODAY, insisted on his innocence, saying: âNo matter how many lawsuits are filed â especially from those who are not willing to put their own names behind their claims â it wonât change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anybody; man or woman, adult or child.â
The statement continued, âWe live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.â
