Delta Police Arrest Nearly 100 Gay Wedding Suspects

The Delta State Police Command has announced that it has detained more than one hundred homosexual suspects who were conducting a gay wedding ceremony at a hotel in the state.

The state police announced the suspects’ arrest on Facebook and stated that they would be paraded momentarily.

“Delta State Command has apprehended more than a hundred gay suspects at a hotel where a gay wedding was taking place. We will soon go live on Facebook to parade the aforementioned suspects,” the caption read.

Recall that since the anti-gay law was enacted in 2014, security personnel in the country have arrested and paraded homosexuals. On December 31, 2021, police raided a brothel in Isolo, Lagos, that housed homosexuals. In 2022, 19 young adults were detained in Kano on suspicion of attending a same-sex wedding.
