Afrobeats sensation Davido has given his close friend and celebrity socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, a thumbs-up as he embarks on a journey to begin his music career. Chiefpriest recently announced that he wants to be part of the growing list of Nigerian entertainment stars trying their luck in music, with the revelation that his debut single, “More Money,” will be part of his upcoming album, CP No Small.
In preparation, Chiefpriest took to social media a behind-the-scenes clip with award-winning cinematographer Director Pink. He announced that the song, which will drop in April on his birthday, would have an official music video. In a video posted on Chiefpriest’s page, Davido expressed excitement and pride in his friend’s new venture, revealing that he was deeply involved in the project.
“I executively produced CP’s new song,” Davido declared in the video. He also revealed that he co-directed the video, as Chiefpriest was seen smiling all through the video recording. Another video captured the nightlife king recording his song, as Davido and a screaming crowd cheered him on. At the conclusion of the video, the duo sparked curiosity with a special handshake, indicating something out of the ordinary about the song.
