Popular influencer, Daniel Regha, has urged Nigerian music star Davido to step in and caution his friend, Cubana Chief Priest, amid the ongoing verbal spat between the socialite and Burna Boy.
The exchange of words between Cubana Chief Priest and Burna Boy began yesterday, with Burna Boy referring to Chief Priest as “Owerri Rick Ross,” which was followed by a response from Chief Priest. In his reply, Cubana Chief Priest suggested that Burna Boy’s Grammy win may have had something to do with Diddy, sparking further controversy.
Regha, commenting on the situation, criticized Cubana Chief Priest for using the Diddy allegation as a counterattack, calling it inappropriate and immature. He expressed that the ongoing back-and-forth between the two men was embarrassing and lacked class.
He further stated, “Davido needs to caution Cubana Chief Priest; Using the Diddy allegation(s) as a clap-back is below the belt, it’s neither funny nor a sign of maturity. In as much as Burna is in the wrong, there should be a line one shouldn’t cross for the sake of clout, & Cubana should be the last person throwing shades. All that money, but these people can’t show any form of class, it’s embarrassing to say the least.”
