The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as fuel, to N899.50 per litre. This new price, effective immediately, was revealed in a statement signed by the Group’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina.
The refinery, Africa’s first privately-owned oil facility, had previously reduced the price to N970 per litre on November 24. The latest reduction is aimed at easing transport costs and providing relief to Nigerians during the holiday season.
“In addition to the price cut, consumers can also purchase an extra litre of fuel on credit for every litre bought with cash at our truck loading gantry or Single Point Mooring (SPM),” Chiejina stated.
This initiative underscores the refinery’s commitment to supporting Nigerians during the festive period.
