Nigerian President Bola Tinubu expressed admiration and appreciation for his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, on the occasion of his 81st birthday. Tinubu went on to extol Buhari’s leadership credentials, recalling his meritorious service as both Head of State and President. The former president also acknowledged Buhari’s efforts to modernize Nigeria’s defense architecture and enhance food security through progressive initiatives that empowered millions of Nigerian farmers. Tinubu praised Buhari as a virtuous servant-leader, noting his unwavering integrity and dedication to the service of the nation.
Tinubu, expressing gratitude for Buhari’s friendship and stalwart support for the administration, conveyed his best wishes for the elder statesman’s longevity and strength.
