Bauchi Pilgrims Board Sets March 17 as Hajj Payment Date for 2025

LEADERSHIP reports, the Executive Secretary of Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, said intending pilgrims in the state are required to pay their Hajj fare not later than March 17, 2025.

Idris, during a press conference, explained that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has delegated Max Air to carry Bauchi pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj. He emphasized that the payment deadline is in line with NAHCON’s instruction to facilitate smooth Hajj operations.

He also reminded prospective pilgrims that medical screening, including polio vaccination and other necessary health examinations, should be undertaken before departure.

The executive secretary disclosed that over 2,200 prospective pilgrims have already made full payments and urged others to submit their passports with a white background early enough to facilitate quick processing.
