The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has declared that there is “no vacancy” in the state’s Government House ahead of the 2027 elections, affirming its support for the incumbent governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, to seek re-election.
Speaking in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday, a member of the APC State Working Committee (SWC), Hon. Aminu Ambursa, dismissed opposition parties’ attempts to challenge Governor Idris’ administration, urging them to focus on constructive engagements instead of what he called “futile attempts to discredit his legitimacy.”
Ambursa praised the governor’s leadership, stating that his economic and political transformation of Kebbi State has laid a solid foundation for continued growth. He emphasized that Idris’ policies, vision, and governance style are already yielding positive results, which will further strengthen his chances for a second term.
He also highlighted the administration’s focus on infrastructure development and revitalizing key sectors, positioning Kebbi for greater prominence in Nigeria’s economic landscape.
The APC chieftain called on party supporters to remain steadfast and committed to Governor Idris’ leadership, assuring them that the administration’s achievements will pave the way for a successful re-election bid.
