Prominent activist, VeryDarkMan, has alleged that the mother of late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, possesses crucial information about her son’s death and is deliberately withholding it. The activist made this claim following her actions during a recent press conference organized to seek justice for Mohbad.
During the event, Mohbad’s mother had a heated confrontation with Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi. Fabiyi had accused Mohbad’s brother of demanding ₦3 million in exchange for a video allegedly showing a confrontation between the late singer and his wife.
The accusation sparked outrage at the gathering, leading Mohbad’s mother to intervene and passionately defend her surviving son, condemning Fabiyi for making what she described as derogatory statements. Reacting to these events, VeryDarkMan expressed his suspicion that Mohbad’s mother knows more about her son’s death than she has revealed.
He further speculated whether she had been offered anything in exchange for her silence. In a post shared via his Instagram stories, the activist wrote:
“I dey look the whole Mohbad matter, I just dey observe… So Audra wan talk, him mama no gree, and she wants justice. The mama say na so dem do until dem kpai Mohbad.
Who kpai Mohbad? Mama, since you know, tell us. She is definitely hiding something… What has Mama been promised?”
