Nigerian rapper, M.I Abaga, has paid warm eulogy to his wife, Eniola Mafe, hailing her as his best pillar of support in his professional and personal life.
In a recent podcast, the winner of several awards in rap has explained how Eniola has been very central in his growth, not only sticking around but also contributing immensely to his music and business ventures.
M.I said she was the initial donor when he began soliciting funds for his business, TASCK, and has since been a part of his endeavors.
“Supportive individual number one is my wife,” he added. “When I started attempting to fund-raise for TASCK, she was the first individual who gave me a cheque. She supports my process of creating music and even filmed most of my web videos herself. She’s always there.”
He also praised her for maintaining her own thriving career without losing sight of making time to attend his performances, touring with him, sitting in on recording sessions with him, and attending meetings often offering keen insights that inform his decisions.
“Most of the time, I inform her that I don’t even need her advice yet because she would have already had a ten-page expose drawn up before I’ve even had a chance to think something through,” he said.
